Laney's First Bath

After a few days in this world, we had Laney on the treadmill doing 5 miles a day is all, but she started smelling a bit ripe so we decided to give her a bath.  

As you can see, she really loved it.

This is after her 15 sets of push-ups and 5 sets of pull ups.  She's a bit tired, but those arms are showing some girth!

Whew, I worked her out hard and she's tired. . .you can't start to early training for the Olympics.  I'm counting on Laney breaking the world record at the 2024 Olympics in the women's steeplechase.

She was complaining a bit about the 15 sets of push ups so I told her she had to run another 4 laps around the house. . .as you can see she's not too happy about that.

Ok, so those for laps were actually Dad changing 4 messy diapers while she gave me the funny cross-eyed look that newborns do.  She can hold her head up pretty good now though. . .

We had a good time in the bathtub.  The girls of course had to play around in the tub afterwards and get the water all over the place.  

Emily and Bailey have been playing "crying baby" the rest of the day. . .each taking turns fake crying while laying in the tub (without water thankfully).  Doesn't look like a fun game to Daddy, but Daddy doesn't understand girl stuff.  That's the story of Daddy's life!
